Week 5 Picks - Quick Hits

Baltimore Ravens -6
Historically Arrowhead stadium is one of the loudest venues in the NFL, but this year that hasn't helped the Chiefs. The Chiefs are 1-3 on the season and 0-2 at home and the boo-birds have been chirping Cassel. We like the Ravens because if the defense can get to Cassel early, which they will, the game could snowball in favor of Baltimore. For an organization known for their defense, the Ravens offense has been very impressive. The perfect storm for Baltimore fans.

Atlanta Falcons -3
When are teams going to start taking the Falcons seriously? Want to hear something scary... 11-2. That's 11 tds and 2 interceptions for Matt Ryan. He's led Atlanta to a 4-0 start and, if you ask me, are the strongest team in the NFC. I know, people always resort to "well what about Green Bay, Chicago, San Fran, etc" News-flash all you traditionalists, the Falcons are the most complete team in the NFC and possibly the NFL right now. And because off all the skeptics out there, they are going to continue to prove it on Sunday.

Falcons vs. Redskins Over 50.5
Each team has averaged 30 points or more each game this season. And jump on the RGIII bandwagon gentlemen! He has rejuvenated the Redskins offense and Mike Shanahan realizes that. The Skins are starting to play a lot more like Baylor did last year and are putting the ball in RG's hands. And on the other side, Ryan, Jones, Gonzalez, White and Turner. Plus, how can you not love these two teams.  Should be a fun game to watch!

Chicago Bears -6
The Bears are off to a 3-1 start while the Jaguars, well... yeah. Blaine Gabbert has yet to evolve into a starting qb and the Jaguars offense is, well... poor Jacksonville. The Jaguars are averaging 15 points a game and now face the Bears defense. Meanwhile, the Bears offense have looked stronger than ever and no longer rely on their defense to win games. The two teams are just polar opposites. One team is one of the best teams in the league while the other team is Jacksonville. POW!
